I just love the Kruger National Park and have been an ambassador for Heaven on Earthfor so many years. However, I am finding it very hard to part with approximately R4 500,00 for 2 nights when housekeeping is so tardy. We have just returned from the Park where we added two nights on at Satara. There will be many who say that the Park offers wonderful value for money but frankly given that this is my levy for an entire week at Ngwenya I am finding it very hard to justify. Its just simple attention to detail and maintenance. Surely its not too much to ask that accommodation is inspected by a Supervisor before it is occupied. After all the new check in time of 2 p.m. was supposed to be for the benefit of visitors to ensure that everything was spic and span. My accommodation for 2015 is costing just on R29 000,00 and I am having serious doubts about what we will find in October. It was not possible to take a picture of the slippery and mouldy floor in the shower nor the tap that was coming away from the wall but we have filled in the ubiquitous feed back forms but doubt we will ever hear from Sanparks.
