I just posted a thread about how Steve Albinis The internet saved music dispatch is full of shit. I deleted it because Paul Ramone Weiner corrected me about how Albini makes his money, but my main point still stands - Albini is dead wrong and completely disconnected from reality when he says the internet solved the music industry problem, and his position is essentially arrogant - he has already made it in the very market the internet destroyed, and streaming music is an absolute rip off for musicians unless your name is Kanye West or something. And again, it was the power of independents that got rid of the old slave contracts, not tech guys sucking everything into their big money vaccume. (I thought that last sentence was good so wanted to perserve it LOL)
