I just posted a video and I hope everyone on my friend list views it. It is a video of two college educated black men in a confrontation with police officers. The young men were clearly defending themselves, but they were the ones charged with committing a crime. Ive personally had enough. You cannot win no matter what you do. I will continue to teach tolerance and respect for the law to my son, but if he was to be killed by an officer. There will be no need for investigations, grand jury or trails. Ill see to justice myself and that will be the most satisfying justice of all. I respect the law, my brother is a retired officer as well is my Mother; but there are times when SOME officers cross the line and nothing is done about it. These two individuals were profiled, harassed and attacked for no other reason than the color of their skin. We are protesting and rioting over the Michael Brown case. Lets be honest. As tragic as his death was, did he not bring some of that confrontation own himself. We (including myself) have been caught up in emotion that we over looked the facts. Michael Brown committed a crime (we beat up a store owner and robbed him), this is what led to to the confrontation between him and Darren Wilson. His own actions, his error of judgement led to his being killed. No, he did not deserve to die and his death is tragic. I shed my tears and I prayed for his soul and his family; but I also condemn his actions of what took place in the market. Now, after viewing the news report I posted below, that should make you angry and want action taken. The charges against these two young men should be dropped and the officers should be charged and removed from the police department immediately.Again, enough is enough.
