I just received a great witnessing opportunity to two Jehovah Witnesses that came to the door. Hello, maam, if you wouldnt mind, wed like to give you this booklet on Gods Kingdom, and if you look at the back of the second one it directs you to our website where you can find more information about us. Thank you! Before you go, would you mind if I give you something? Oh, sure... We have a scripture sign, and a cross, in our front yard, which normally causes the Mormons and JWs to run off rather fast (ironically), but I was very glad this were willing to wait for a moment so I could grab two Chick tracts. (This guy looked new.) After handing him two (he was with an older lady) Chick tracts, he thanked me, and turned to go, but then stopped. He looked at me and asked, Whats your name? My names Moriah. Oh, I wonder where that name comes from. And here was the PERFECT invitation to give the gospel message! Its a mountain in Israel. In the Bible, it tells of Abraham and Isaac going on top; its a Messianic prophecy showing that God would provide a Lamb, Jesus, and become the sacrifice, so that we could be washed clean of our sins, and enter into heaven. Time was short, and I was holding on to Sebby (guard dog), so the presentation wasnt the clearest and the neatest, but I think I got the message across.
