I just spent 40 minutes on the phone with a lady from Wasilla, AK who thought my 800# was #SuicideHotline. I respected her not wanting to give me her information - name, address, etc. I got her phone number, age, significant other job description, number of kids, and some basic. Shes ready to toss in the towel. I calmed her down, but in the end, I asked, What can I do for you right now? She said, I guess there is nothing you can do! (Hung up the phone) Can you feel the beat of my heart right now???? Just got off the phone with the Police in Wasilla, Alaska and gave them all the information I received. They are on their way. They will detain her and bring her in for an evaluation. Im proud I was able to receive that call.
