I just started uploading to youtube the first half (34 out of 69) segments from the Mists Fall Coronet from Saturday. Consider this a boon for my loyal subscribers. You will know where to look (in the morning most likely). Everyone else will have to wait till I post a playlist tomorrow (sunday). On a technical note, I have to admit, I am pretty happy about the footage I have seen so far. I will probably go back to using my new camera, with the after-market hyper-cardioid Shotgun microphone, as I think the built in mic on the new camera picks up a little too well what it going on behind me, and to the sides... I have tried to protect everyone from themselves if I found peanut gallery audio that was not appropriate for public consumption. Also, please forgive me if I mangled the spelling of your name, I go from what I can dig up quickly. Please feel free to comment about a video with corrections, and I will do my best to get the changes updated quickly. From my fighting marshal in training perspective, I think there are some folks who might want to watch some of their fights over again, particularly in slow motion. I see some moments where things appear a little different than how it played out by the fighters. I know this is a very contentious issue because no matter how clear the video is, we cant judge the force/intensity on video. I give great thanks to the fighters who volunteered as Marshals today, I really appreciate giving of your time to help run a list that was as clean as it was. And, I will also take a moment, to thank the lists crew. Many people grumble over different things regarding how a tournament list is dynamically constructed, but the long and the short of it, is that it is a lot of very manual work, with a bizarre and sizable number of variables that are usually far from obvious at play. I have stumbled through as a List Master for the Crapaud on several occasions, and I can testify that it is neither simple, nor stress free.
