I just talked to my mom Joyce McCarty. She sounds great, she has a positive fighting attitude (surprise hahaha). They are supposed to start chemo today. Just an FYI....please do not send any flowers to her, the thought would be greatly appreciated but they will not allow them due to possible issues with reactions to smells. She is asking for people to call the room room if they want to talk to her to limit the charges to her cell minutes. If you want to get the phone # to her room just message me and I will gladly pass it on. Thank you for the outpouring of care & concern for my mom and our family. We will continue to lean on family and friends for support as she progresses through treatment.
