I just thought about another story with my Dad that was funny to me. My fellow digital creatives can probably relate to this type of thing. So I show my Dad my final digital reel I created in order to graduate back in 2003. It was a 3 minute animated short that had fully animated 2D characters with the lip movement synced with the voice overs in a full 3D generated environment including custom made background music and sound effects. The first thing my Dad asked me after watching it is, So do you just push buttons on the computer to create that? I was on the ground laughing. My response was, If it was as simple as just pushing buttons, we would all have Pixar money... lol
