I just took these photos. This is a robot built by a very elderly man, Tony who is a great contributor to the Growth and Prosperity of Osoyoos. He is my neighbour. Him and his wife always stop to say Hi and pat Tim. He actually built the Bella Villa Resort among many other properties in town. He wanted to build something to give to Osoyoos for people to enjoy. He built this from scratch with his own hands. He calls it Mr Hass after Hoss on Bonanza! He entered it in this years Parade on July 1st. I think Tony is a remarkable man and this is a great contribution to the Village of Osoyoos. It actually moves every hour the man slams down his fist and it rings the bell. The bell is from the old original Roman Catholic Church on Main street in Osoyoos, long replaced by a newer one.
