I just walked in from taking Willa, Luke and Hannah to the clinic. Luke has an ear ache and Willa has not been feeling good. Everyone knows I am a basket case when the dogs are sick. Specifically my Seniors. Needless to say pretty stressful Morning thus far but nothing that can not be handled...I log into my e-mail and my hostility level went from worried about my dogs to wanting to reach through the computer and strangle someone. I have one question...Why is there a segment of the population that serve zero purpose other than lash out and basically poop all over what people do? What do they get out of it? What makes a person so miserable that all they can muster up is hate and ugliness? Why would someone that incredibly hateful and nasty troll rescue walls? We see ugly all day and try so hard to keep our wits and minds about us. Some of us hang on to a thread ourselves on certain days without some Troll pouring gas on our open wounds....What am I talking about? Please read the following E-Mail... Dear Angela, I saw your plea for even more help this morning. What I am referring to is your Sanctuary Solicitation. Lady Maria is dead is she not? Why do you still have her on there? I am sure many people will overlook this and send you money. This money should be going to an actual animal in need. Soliciting funds for a dog that is dead is disgusting and you will burn in hell for this. All of you big rescues are the same. You cry and beg for funds yet no one ever has any idea where the money goes. All of you are thieves. You utilize the suffering of these poor animals to your advantage. Do you even have a job or are the donations paying your bills? You are disgusting. I will be reporting you to the State of South Carolina and I will make sure you will never take another dime for a dead dog you piece of shit. ----------------------------------------------- Dear Anonymous, Seeing you are making some rather lofty accusations one would think you would have the Nuggets to actually sign your e-mail with a name. You are correct Lady Maria passed away. It was a simple oversight not removing her. Perhaps I have not yet wrapped my head around the fact she is dead. How kind of you to remind me of her death. Not like it isnt painful enough already. Please feel free to report me to anyone you see fit. If you need the numbers and e-mails to the persons that oversee us let me know as I have them handy. I am not a Big Rescue, as you are assuming. I am a small rescue with an amazing support system. I have also refunded many donations that came in as a duplicate and will continue to do so. My books and my veterinary records are also open to anyone that wishes to see them. Please let me know if you would like to meet and go over them with me. What is disgusting is people like you. People that sit in wait until they know a person is down and come along and kick them a little harder. People like you that take pleasure in hurting others. People like you that cowardly send out hateful and extremely hurtful e-mails such as this. People like you make many of us walk away from what we love because quite frankly this is not what any human being should be subjected to. But dont throw a party yet. People like you make me who I am today. Driven and Successful. But maybe that is the root of the issue. Maybe your hatred comes from a deep rooted jealousy for doing something you only wish you could do. My door and my office is open. Please let me know when you would like to come over!
