I just want to make something clear here. I understand this is an opinion, and some of you may unfollow me for this.. Im totally fine with that. Its your decision. Nowadays people in the cosplay community are obsessing over popularity, and wanting to be guests in shows. Asking around, waiting to be asked, but here I am thinking to myself why? Anime conventions used to be all about dressing up, having fun, and possibly meeting some really cool voice actors from our favourite animes. This past year, I have seen majority of conventions start including cosplay guests into their program, but I just cant seem to understand, and probably never will. I will admire, but I am nobodies fan. Conventions have always been there for people to cosplay. We are all unique, wonderful, and even some of us create our own designs and costumes. We share same interests, and gain new friendships. To me we are all cosplay guests at a convention. This is no popularity thing, and nobody should have to feel down, judged, or anxious about the cosplay they are doing because no one does it wrong. You having fun, and enjoying yourself is all that matters. Im sorry for my very long status there. I love each and every single one of you for supporting me on my journey. I like sharing my interests with friends, and enjoy seeing people with similar interests. Its one of the biggest joys in my life.
