****I just want to put a warning out there for any and everyone.**** I have seen quite a few things lately on pet adoption sites that has made my stomach turn, in addition I have had my attention brought to considerably more. **** buyers - be cautious of who you are adopting your pets from regardless of whether they are papered or not. Familiarize yourself with the breeder or the one looking to sell the animal. Where do they live ? is it a house ?a farm ?an apartment? How are the dogs kept? are the dogs raised under foot with humans? are they kept outside? are they kept in kennels? What is the overall cleanliness and appearance of both the dog owner and the dogs. How many different breeds of animals is this one person breeding or selling? Do you ever see strange posts where this breeder or seller is selling a breed not usually sold from their home? Buyers do your due diligence to ensure you are not helping financially support a breeder or seller that is not in it for the dogs, has little to no respect for the animals, and where the monetary gain comes first ***breeders- do not misrepresent yourself.. if you are a caring loving breeder ,advertise so, and with open hearts welcoming any and everyone interested in meeting your pups or your sire and dam, and checking out their breeding and whelping space. Be honest with your knowledge on the breed you are breeding or selling if you dont know an answer to a question a potential adoptive family has asked, ask a breeder who does know before giving misleading or wrong information. Help the community of breeders and adoptive families be on the lookout for those whom are suspicious please dont feel too intimidated to screenshot a picture or post that makes you uncomfortable that you would like to share, or to call out a breeder giving breeders a bad name. I can assure you I will do as much due diligence as possible in keeping this forum clear of any non reputable breeders, also know I will be on the lookout on these other sites for predatory people, and of course bringing the information back to share with you all
