I just want to put it out there how overdramatic and outrageous some of your posts are. Its only the 1st quarter of the season and half of you are already calling for Idzik and Genos heads. Just a couple of points: 1. Idzik didnt do a great job of addressing the secondary and didnt do a great job with the draft this year, particularly in the later rounds. But hes going to put us in a position to be major players in free agency next year while retaining our core talent. A dynasty is not built in 2 years it takes time. 2. I dont understand how benching Geno for Vick is going to solve anything? Were not going to the Super Bowl regardless of who starts at quarterback. Essentially you would be giving up on Geno for good and ruin another quarterback we drafted, replace him with Vick whos injury prone, turnover prone, older and not going to be around much longer. How does that make sense when youre trying to build a contender? Geno needs some time to develop but unlike Sanchez hes actually improving from Year 1 to 2. Give the kid a break. 3. The team is only 1-3 and 1 game back in the division. Theres still plenty of time to right the ship. I get a lot of us have came back down to earth with all the high expectations after these 4 games, but we dont have a choice in what happens. Just have to keep believing that the Jets have the right plan to get that Lombardi trophy. Thats all...
