I just want to say Happy Easter to everyone. I am spending the early part of the day in Bermuda with some nice people and then coming home to get Joes mom and going to a family members for supper. I saw a male Cardinal in my yard tonight right at dusk and they say if you see one it is a loved one coming to say Hello. So I think it was Joe coming to say Happy Easter Kathleen and tell everyone i love and miss them. I did get my Easter baskets done and the kielbassi cooked so in that way it was like an Easter from the past. It is a bit of time since I did baskets but Grandchildren do like them. And they like kielbassi too. So I do these again for them. I love ham too and as much as I miss the chaos days of when my kids for this holiday I was glad to pass the torch for this holiday dinner many years ago to the other Kathy in our family. We missed leftovers so I used to do a ham here too but not this year. I missed the smell of it though. It is funny how I associate smells with the holidays. Ham is Christmas and Easter and so is kielbassi. Turkey is Thanksgiving. Burgers are the summer holidays. Fish is Christmas Eve. Goodies are all of them. Eggs are Easter and so is vinegar. We will miss Joe tomorrow but I know he will be looking down here helping us to make some more memories to pass on.
