I just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all of the lovely ladies in this group for everything you try to do to help the animals here in Qatar. Im sorry I cant do much in rescue & fostering but only give my moral support & try cheer everyone up with my few funny posts. Circumstances just doesnt allow it, sadly. There is something I would like to share with all of you. The other I saw a local man carry a dog, which had been hit by a vehicle - not sure if the man had done it or maybe someone else had hit the dog - anyways,he removed the dog from the on-coming traffic & when i had gone back to the spot about 30 mins later, both the man & dog were gone. As to where I will never know. The only good thing is that no other vehicle could do further damage like I have seen while driving around in this country. Now I have never ever seen that in the 7 yrs of been in Qatar, that someone would stop his car to go remove an injured or dead animal from the road, whether he was the guilty person or not. All I can think of is that someone decided to do a good deed for the day - if that is what you can call it. Its the little things we do each day for an animal that matters the most, thats what I believe. The love, care, pampering, feeding, cleaning but mostly just been there for them. Im not sure if any of this makes sense.
