I just want to say because of some conversations Ive had tonight.... You have no idea how much divorce breaks a person. Like into ground down finer than sand nothing left pieces. Even if its for the best, or the right decision, or the person chose to leave/vrs being left. No idea. I used to talk with divorced people a lot in my short time in the counseling profession and I always thought I could relate. I always thought I was empathetic, and understanding. But you have no idea till youve been there. No idea till you try to pick up the pieces and everything slips through your fingers and you have to look around for new pieces that you dont think will ever fit. Like putting together a jigsaw puzzle and you dont even have the slightest clue what the picture is supposed to look like, youre just stumbling around in the dark praying God helps you find them all and soon. But theres hope. If you can hold onto Him and trust, youll start to see the picture is so much more amazing than you ever saw possible before.
