I just want to say that despite the rumors & all the people saying that Mormons are a cult or that we are ignorant or anything of the like, should simply think twice before hopping onto the hate train. The Mormon religion brings happiness, joy, and teaches values that are hard to find elsewhere in todays world. I am not saying every member is perfect, we all know that every member of any church is not. However, we are taught to research and learn all we can about the world and the Gospel. No one lies to us nor do they force us to believe. We are asked to pray and learn for ourselves that it is true. Any one that knows me would know that I am not brainwashed into my religion. I chose to be a part of it because I know for a fact it is true & I couldnt imagine my life without it. I devote my life to the LDS religion, not because I am forced to, not because Im brainwashed, but because I know it is the true church, I love being a part of it, & it has bettered & blessed my life beyond measure. I just hope that instead of reading & believing misguided, biased articles that make light of Mormons and the LDS religion, you learn for yourself by prayer, by studying the actual doctrine, by asking a true member of the church, by talking to the missionaries, or even by going to our church on a Sunday. But please, do not speculate, make fun of, or cast stones at members of a religion just because something seems odd or because the media is purposely trying to portray it as something it is not. Being mean will not put your point across, but really, what even is your point?
