I just want to send a message the the person who hit my car and then fled the scene last night at 8:55 pm. At the corner of Reach Road and Main street that red sign meant STOP. You didnt. In fact you hit me, and then you didnt even have the decency to stay, let alone see if I was okay, or if there was any passengers. In fact, you squealed your tires and fled from the accident. Just so you know, my children were not in the car so I am incredibly thankful for that. My dog was in the back seat, but he too was thankfully okay as am I. I doubt you actually care about that, or you would have stayed to find out. I also want you to know more that you are probably not interested in. I am a single mom who just recently started working again after begin laid off. It is difficult for me to come up with the $500 that I incurred (my deductable) from your failure to remain at the scene. I wonder, were you drunk? did you not have insurance? or did you simply not care? Your complete disregard for another person and the outcome of your actions is astounding. I want you to know that you didnt do the right thing, but there is always time to do it. I want you to know that I dont know your age or your gender but I hope you as your self when you go to bed tonight, would you want this to happen to a woman in you life? Your mother? your sister? your daughter? I am all of those things to people in my life and thats who you did this to. To me, you are one thing and one thing only.... a COWARD.
