I just want to share this analogy... For many years, my Dad coached AAU basketball. In all actuality, if he wasnt perfected by any other means, he was skilled in his techniques with this game. He ate, drank, slept, thought, walked, ran, drove and cherished the game of basketball to the point where I would sit and watch him draw plays from the NBA, NCAA, WNBA and even the PSL because he possessed an everlasting desire to win. However, in order for him to keep his team from being defeated, this called for him to run different plays; and as a result, he was often triumphant that resulted in him winning many trophies. In fact, the very last trophy my Dad won before his transition is sitting in my bedroom enclosed in a protective case. Nevertheless, anytime a person can sit back and think they can run the same old play over and over, even if they are using different people to dribble the ball, they are doing nothing more than revealing to their opponent the aim from which they are coming and once your opponent keeps observing your same tired aim, 1) they will know your intent each time you run it; and 2) they will eventually grow weary with you running it. When this happens and that tired play is completely revealed, you will find yourself without a triumphant and you can best believe you will find yourself without the trophy! There comes a time in our lives when we have to cease from playing and invest ourselves in praying because it is only God who will and can give you the desires of your heart and you cannot delight yourself in Him knowing that you are being delinquent in your plays with others...As they always say, you can fool some of the people some of the times but there are times when you cannot fool certain people none of the times...It is just a matter of fact! Have a blessed day! #AndTrixTodayAreStillRegisteredForKids!
