I just want to take a moment to thank the Lord for the abundant blessings He has laid on my life. I dont have a palace, or a mansion, but I have a nice comfortable home, I have a bed to lay down in at night where I can pray and slumber in peace, I have plenty of food on my table, I have clothing to wear, I have doctors to take care of my ails, as well as those of my husband. I am blessed with a husband and family who love me anyway, and I have a great church family that is supportive and loving, a pastor who teaches/preaches directly from the Word. I live in a country where I can (for now anyway) go to that church any time I want to, and I can openly proclaim that I am a born again, blood bought, eternally saved sinner with a God who loves, leads and guides me. I have a compassionate heart for others, that is, in my estimation, a true gift from the Holy Spirit. I cant sing worth a lick, but I sing anyway....I believe God wants to hear my croaking voice. I can see, hear, smell, taste, feel every wonderful (and sometimes not so wonderful) thing He has created. I can walk (cant run, but thats okay, Ive been blessed with two good artificial knees that get me where I want to go). I can raise my arms in praise, or lower them to pick up a child or a flower. I have rainbows, hummingbirds, flowers, clouds and all the wonders of nature. I can read my Bible, I can learn and even though Im getting old, I can still experience the newness of life through Jesus Christ, my Savior. I KNOW Hes coming back to get me, either in natural death, or by Rapture. In other words, Thank You, Lord, because when it comes right down to where the rubber meets the road, I have it ALL.
