I just want to thank everyone for their prayers and words of encouragement on yesterday. I was really going through a storm and God has pulled me through. My surgery went extremely well and its almost unbelievable how much of a breeze it was for me. God truly had his hands involved in the whole process. My surgeon. Col/Dr. Heilng, whom has been operating on me for about the last 4 years is a very skilled asset to the US Army and I feel blessed to have had him in my corner. I want to thank Ty Brewton all the way in Japan for personally praying with me yesterday morning minutes before I went into my surgery. Im sure she didnt expect me to post that on FB, but I just want her to know that it was much needed because sometimes its hard to pray on your own when things get tough, even though it should never be that way. Also, my friend and my battle whom God placed in my life in Wiesbaden Germany (2009) when I was going through deep depression and cancer is still in my life today and escorted me to my procedure. Its funny how she and I both got released/orders from Germany at the same time and PCSed to Fort Gordon Georgia simultaneously. Then God even went so far as to granting the both of us retirement and other mind blowing blessings at the same time. I just feel blessed that shes still in my life today helping me on my journey to recovery. Also, to my partner and best friend Tasheba Washington, my mom and sister, thanks although yall couldnt be there. My lesson from this: When life gets too hard to stand...Kneel. Some people may never know/understand what its like for a person to have mental comorbidities and other life threatening illnesses (Bc I promise I dont do this for attention) and have fight for there lively hood everyday but for those of you who do, thanks so much for your support and please continue to keep me in your prayers if you may because the devil is so busy. Sorry for the long post and if I failed to tag someone
