I just wanted to mention to everyone that truth is relative and if - TopicsExpress

I just wanted to mention to everyone that truth is relative and if you say something often enough even though its wrong, people start accepting it. As an example i was you to go online and look up the word literally. It used to mean "In a literal manner or sense; exactly: "the driver took it literally when asked to go straight over the traffic circle"." now it means "Used to acknowledge that something is not literally true but is used for emphasis or to express strong feeling." as well because of common usage. You see that, now it means both literally and figuratively, how can a word be its own antonym? So my point is, if you are wrong often enough, even accepted forms of authority will begin to accept it as correct. This is why we cant have nice things, this and sneeches...
