I just wanted to say I am very disappointed in a particular EP policeman today. On my way back to work from lunch today, there was a semi on 116 at the light by Shell that had lost a bundle of plywood in the road. The plywood was blocking the inside lane, and I could see they had no way to move it, or get it back on the truck. I went to our shop and got a forklift to get it moved and back on the truck if possible. Once I returned, I started to move it and was met with complete attitude from this officer. He told me that I was going to cause an accident, and needed to just leave it there! I asked if he was serious, and he repeatedly said yes, get out of here! There were several cops blocking traffic, and a state cop said to go ahead and move it. This pissed the EP cop off more, and he turned his attitude towards the truck driver, demanding his paperwork. I went ahead and drug the wood onto the access road and cleared traffic. Officer Broderick assisted in getting it on the truck while officer negativity stormed around pouting he wasnt in charge. This was an ACCIDENT d-bag. No one was hurt fortunately, and good citizens pitched in to help a citizen in need. Thanks for nothing officer. Despite your lack of upholding your commitment to serve and protect, we got this.... To all the good, understanding officers who were there and did not try to make a bad situation worse, I thank you.
