I just watched a devastating story on Nightline about the Central African Republic: A Nation Engulfed in Civil War, where thousands of families are fleeing from their homes in a country on the brink of genocide. The reporter found an abandoned baby in the bushes! (See video below). They need help! When I attended a Catholic Church in Santa Monica, I asked the Monsignor one day: Do you ever doubt the existence of God? He answered, When I visit Africa and witness such vast poverty and despair, there are moments of disconnection for me. A very honest answer, which I can understand. Cruelty towards humans or animals is unbearable and we should take action whenever we see it.
