I just watched the movie Cast Away with Tom Hanks... a great movie too and Ive seen it several times. For whatever reason, the message I took away from it was different this time. Think about this and let me know your thoughts. Heres a professional middle-aged guy working in corporate America and by all accounts, has a pretty decent job, although he seems to work around the clock... I can surely relate to that, having worked triple-digit hours per week for years in the computer business (in my previous life). Through no fault of his own, his life is unexpectedly turned upside down and backwards, radically changed forever (for better or worse) and how does corporate America respond to his dilemma? They give him some ice, throw him a fancy dinner party and expect him back at work the next day... I mean really? Hasnt he been through enough? Ive seen this movie several times but never again... I cant help but realize how privileged and blessed of a life I have to live in a free country with an abundance of opportunity. If youve never looked at the business Im building, youll never understand this but it was founded by a gentleman who not only had the vision, but the financial means to bring it to market. He didnt need to involve the masses but he saw an opportunity to share the wealth.. to give back.. and Im talking a market of hundreds of billions of dollars! In comparison to typical corporate America, #IQLife is a cut above the rest... the cream of the crop... and Im honored to be a part of the movement that will unite people all over the world.
