I just witnessed a mother and two family members intentionally leave their daughter (about 6-8 years old I think) all alone in a Don Pan, presumably because she was misbehaving. They left her sitting alone wearing her backpack, crying, in a booth and then left for 5-10 minutes. I and others watched, and after a few minutes I went to have one of the Spanish speaking ladies that works there go to talk to the girl to see if she needed help. Eventually the brother (it seemed like) came back in to get her. I cannot understand the stupidity of people to leave a young girl all alone intentionally. What lesson do you teach? She could have easily run out the back door, scared and alone - or worse, someone could have abducted her. Just this morning I read the article below about negligent parents and their lack of responsibility for their children. After seeing what I just saw, its a shame that some people qualify as "parents" - because giving birth does not make you a "parent." cnn/2013/08/22/opinion/granderson-criminal-kids-responsibility/index.html?hpt=hp_t1
