I keep hearing people say they have a right to keep playing football...maybe thats part of the problem--the sense of entitlement. Start considering playing football as a privilege, that comes with responsibilities and a culture of pride, accountability, and standards and YES- you are a player? That makes you a role model. Act like it. You are a coach? Those kids are your responsibility when they are on school property...and no one has a bigger influence on them when they arent. The parents that are angry about the season being cancelled? Worry about getting your child help--everyone is effected by this. And the NFL? yes this is your fault too for showing kids that you can be a piece of shit human being and STILL be paid millions of dollars and have millions of fans and do whatever you want as long as you can play.
