I keep seeing posts on my timeline that draw slavery to the modern prison system. I am little confused. I fail to see the correlation between FORCED bondage and the CHOICE to commit a crime. Its a cop out. Just another excuse African Americans use to get society to feel sorry for them Millions of black men make the choice everyday to do the right thing EVERYDAY to avoid prison. I fail to see how a free thinking, free willed individual can have the audacity to compare modern prison to historical slavery. Thats absolutely ridiculous.
