I keep seeing this, and I have to wonder why people post this? Many of these homes arent in the right places. Put a homeless person in a suburban house with no public transportation so they cant get to a food pantry or free meals or anything else? Let them live in a house with no utilities as they cant pay for that? So even if bank gave them the house, theyd lose it because they couldnt pay property taxes and the county would seize it and auction it off. Many other empty places are condemned. We have a bunch of rural places around here that have empty houses on tracts of farmland, but not habitable by humans. Many places here are a mile apart. That would help a homeless person a lot to be isolated like that. Theys be dead in no time.
