I keep seeing this guy every other week. So this time, I might as well respond. He says he has a $100,000 challenge which challenges atheists to prove there is no god. There is none. Atheism is simply the disbelief that there actually is a god. Its not the proof that there is no god. Its simply a belief. Christianity is the belief that god does exist and Jesus died for your sins. Thats great. I dont care if you believe that or dont believe it. Either way, there is no solid proof. People can say they have experienced god, and that may be true, but theres still no solid evidence proving gods existence. Also, he says that if murder were legal, we would still feel bad for killing someone because god has written it on our hearts. Im fairly certain there have been killers in the past that receive pleasure from taking the lives of others. Granted, most people would feel guilt, but not necessarily for religious purposes. Killing someone is a permanent act that will follow you wherever you go. The knowledge that you took someones life away from them, not knowing what they could have accomplished or just knowing that the victims family is somewhere grieving would be enough for anyone to feel guilty or bad. He ends the video by saying help an atheist out. I wasnt aware that atheists needed help. I thought that in America we had freedom of religion. Sorry, I dont think they need your help. If someone chooses to be an atheist, great. If someone chooses to be christian, great. If someone chooses to be Hindu or Buddhist or any other religion, great. But dont shove your religion down someone elses throat when theyve already accepted what they believe or dont believe. If they are not harming you in any way, shape, or form, let them practice their belief/disbelief. He also goes on to say that hundreds or thousands of atheists have converted because of his videos because they looked at common sense or logic. In my opinion, it isnt logic. Nobody even wants to think about what might happen to them in the afterlife if theres a possibility of unhappiness. Some people will accept religion just because they are scared or feel guilty. If religion helps them to be a better person, great. Some people dont need religion to have morals, and sometimes even those who claim to have religion are vile people. Just because you have god on your side, doesnt mean you shouldnt help out the people actually on Earth. Everyone is an atheist to some religion. Some of us just go one god further. And if youre going to comment something negative, dont waste your time or mine.
