I keep watching 42 to see of I can find things I like about it, but I really think it was the worst biography Ive ever seen on film. How is someone as celebrated and as important to not just African American history, but history period not glorified more in a movie. Dam they should have gave the script to Spike Lee on some real shit all we saw was him playing ball. Nothing about childhood, family, parents, how he grew up, how he discovered the game, the war, or anything. The woman who played his mom had a 5sec cameo in the movie. Like come on Hollywood to me the movie was disrespectful considering they hype surrounding it was wack.
