I kinda wanted to stay quiet on this whole situation, but its very sad to see the CBC being so easily fooled by the smokescreen surrounding this controversy. Sites like Kotaku and Polygon arent going to report on their own corruption, so we are fed this alternate version which switches the focus from integrity in journalism to a topic sure to get arguments started and distract from the presses bad press. Im not really surprised by this, what does surprise me is the willingness to accept the smokescreen by other media outlets and the public itself. Very well written letter Cat, hopefully the right people at CBC see it and act accordingly.
