I knew Michele by way of our friend in common, Laura. We spent many a night tearing up the town and enjoyed some vacations together in our early 20s. Since then, I have seen her a few times a year at different events. Michele was the type of person that if you met and hung out with her once, and then didnt see her for awhile and met up again, it was like no time had passed. A kind hearted soul who would bend an ear for anyone. She would get a special glimmer in her eye when talking lovingly about her kids: just the type of mom you would aspire to be. I especially loved her sense of humor and quirky jokes and singing. Being a wife and mother myself, her loss deeply saddened me and I extend my deepest sympathies to the family. It is hard to think that I will not encounter her smile or joking and jovial manner at future events. The day that she passed, I found this angel picture with a striking resemblance to Michele. It gave me comfort to think of her in heaven and at peace watching over those below. I think about how small some of my daily life troubles are and have hugged my family a little tighter and called my friends more than ever this week.
