I knew a man who was the master of one- liners! One if those one -liners was You gotta live until you die. Sounds trite until you give thought to it. The questions rise, how am I going to live and why do I live?? Three times in the Word of God we are told, The just shall live by faith. Romans 1:17; Hab 2:4; and Heb 10:38 The faith life is a life that recognizes God as our source of all good things; it a life lived resting in and on Him for every need of life. It is a life of trust! Why do I live?? I live to glorify the God that gives me life! To bring glory to Him I must obey Him! I must obey His Word and I must obey His will for my life!! The old hymn sums it up, Trust and obey, for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey. Today remember, you gotta live until you die, so why not live the faith life in obedience to Gods Word doing Gods will. God bless each of you! Thanks to all who have prayed for me! The eye surgery to remove cataracts and to have a partial cornea transplant seems to have been successful! Just need some time for recovery!! Praise The Lord for sight!! Never take the ability to see for granted!! God bless and again thank you for praying for me!!
