I know I have said it several times before..but the Delta ramp agents cruising around on the Tugs really bother me. They all drive like they think they are so slick in their little hot rods, out on a hot date in the convertible on the way to the drive in with buddy holly cranked on the radio and enough Bryl-creem in their hair to rival the runoff from Exxon-Valdez, when really they are driving distances of about 100 feet at a time pulling a cart carrying peoples suitcases.. Every day I have near misses with at least 10 of them..one day I may hit one while backing off a flight, since they seem to like to jump the gap when I am backing up..I have to wonder. they are driving an open topped vehicle the size of an armchair, and when they see a 100,000lb tanker truck full of hazardous liquid that is about the size of a city bus, somehow their first instinct is to try and impede its progress.. Earlier I saw a servisair driver arguing with a ramp agent who was on the runway next to him, going the same speed, trying to race him.
