I know I post often in regards to Hair I Go Again,and that in doing so it can be desensitizing at times, especially since I rarely go into much detail about what is going on. We have maintained a fairly rigid veil of reticence as it has been a constant goal and challenge to maintain the element of surprise and novelty, until the film is finally released. But as we approach the end of this journey we now find ourselves in need of more transparency in order to achieve the end goal. We have worked tirelessly to reach this point, which on a percentage scale puts us at around 94%. With that, the next two weeks will prove crucial as we strive to realize the final 6% of this process . Our success or failure will ultimately affect the outcome of the film, depending on whether or not we are be able to actualize two major pieces that are heavily weighted and which have been in the works for some time. This fallout will ultimately be the difference in our project being something that is OK vs something that is STELLAR. Our friends and supporters can have an enormous impact and influence on the outcome of what has turned out to be our lives work. Recently,a FB page was created in order to help facilitate a grassroots effort to have our film premiered on the upcoming Monsters Of Rock Cruise 2015 event. The caveat to this is is that the cut we intend on screening (which was also our submission cut we recently sent to Tribeca Film Festival ) is not quite complete. We are missing one final piece to our story which would be satisfied should we be invited to participate at this event. This would involve a filmed performance piece AND a filmed participation piece on the part of the attendees. I wish I could go into more detail, but as previously stated it is important for us to maintain a certain level of enshrouding throughout the process....thats just Filmmaking 101;) All in, I am asking for support from anyone and everyone who has even the slightest interest in what we are doing or more importantly shares a passion for the era of music and its artists which are the collective backdrop of our film.
