I know a few PD and I know they would never do this. However this does raise concern. From comments in post this happened today in mesa near Hawes and Broadway. 15 yr old runaway punched in the face twice by female Mesa PD. She has asthma and was screaming and kicking that she couldnt breathe. Mom came on site. Couple that recorded said make cop told them female cop acted appropriately and could shoot her dead if needed. Then tried to delete video from this couples phone. Been shared hundreds of times in a matter of hours. They are asking everyone to share. How can we help our kids for a better future if this is how we respond to their needs, now please know I dont agree with runaway teens either and Im sure there was faults on the teens part too but must we punch children. Obviously this 15 year old was clearly over powered so was the assault really needed to detain her.
