I know a lot of people dont understand the concept of addiction. It is a disease, its like an obsession. Addiction doesnt have a face, believe me I know. I am an addict. It hurts to have someone judge me. To think that theyre better than I am because of the problem I have. I personally like to think Im stronger. Ive been at my weakest. I have experienced the lowest. I have hurt the ones I love and the ones I dont even know. But today is where its different, just for today, I try to do better. Im not perfect and you arent either. I feel it has made me more strong , more grateful, blessed and thankful for the life I have today. I dont have to wake up and try to depend on something else to make me happy. I can cope with my emotions. So the next time someone wants to down any other person. Walk in there shoes, find out there story. Theres a lot of people who are good at putting on a mask so the rest of the world cant see how theyre feeling or hurting.
