I know an unfortunate soul who spouts the mantra The _____ engine is built for boost, wha wha whaaaaa. That same unfortunate soul dumped 5 or so thousand dollars(earned in a car accident, as he has no real job or education) into a forged bottom end and titanium valve train for his built for boost engine. $200 junkyard engine + $40 set of injectors + a rising rate FPR, and a junkyard scavenged SC would net more power, a usable powerband, and enough money left over the maintain the car properly. A tip of my hat to the only idiot I know whos car has been off the road longer than mine. Hell, at least mine has seen improvement in her downtime. I guess you eventually run out of bolt-on performance, after all, haha.
