I know it doesnt look like much, but its the end result of seven continuous weeks of designing, prototyping, testing, and re-working a system that will print backing material for roll film. The material has to be very thin, 100% opaque, perfectly smooth, and not react with silver-halide emulsion. The ink has to adhere to a non-porous surface yet contain no residual solvents that could react with the film and fog it. The system has to print a 44 long image, reliably. And now it works. Finally!
