I know many of the intelligent comrades, fighters and activists who are not having any qualifications. Having qualification I dont really believe can make you smart if you cant apply your knowledge on what you have learnt. The only thing I know what education does do someones life, it unlock the opportunities in life. It is by the same reason that former DR Parlo Jordan lied about his credentials. Parlo Jordan knew the importance of having the tittle DR to his political career and he saw the vacuum of politicians without the tittle and managed to lie about it. I refuse to admit that Parlo Jordan would be known and where he is right now in terms of his political career if it was not the case that he lied about him being a DR. People started to take him serious on the basis that he is a DR. There is this notion amongst African people that when someone is educated, we tend to take such a person serious and he knew about it. Even when a person is talking nonsense just because he is educated black people tend to go along with such nyoso just because of the educational credentials the person has brought forth. The reality is that Mr Jordan if he had not lied about that he is a DR he was just gona be a nobody. It should be known that we are not against that he served as a minister without legitimate doctarate qualification but that he lied to the nation that he is DR. I dont dispute the fact that he is intelligent, I know how intelligent he is even in the midst of him lying about is academic credentials. And this impose to us that one cannot be intelligent because he is having a formal education as much as I concur about Mr Jordans intelligence hence not having his Doctarate qualification. In other words, we still having a lot of our black brothers whom we are refusing to admit that they are intelligent just because they didnt lie about their academic credentials. There is a man who is sleeping on the street who might be more intelligent than Mr Jordan. Let me say it again, there is a man who is sleeping on the street who might be more smarter than Mr Pallo Jordan but because such man never got an opportunity to show what he is made of, his smartness was never utilized. Out of all this Fake Credential of Pallo Jordan, we are now taught that a man can be intelligent without a formal credentials, all what everbody need is to be given an opportunity to show what we are made of. We all need that one opportunity in life to make it to the top not misleading the society.
