I know many of you will want to swallow me about this argument but I will put it across anyway... I have been thinking about our form right now and what it could have been would Wenger maybe... spend a little more. What invoked me to think of this is Chelseas second team that will probably meet us tonight. Juan Mata, David Luiz, Michael Essien, Cesar Azpilicueta Mark Schwarzer among others.... This is supposedly their second team. For us its just our youngsters (well, dont get me wrong I have alot of confidence in them) but then,I wont hide my fear at what might happen tonight. Also, what might happen when our first team gets injured in other games. I was looking at the players we have lost so far. Great talents like Nasri,Song,Fabu,RVP.... and our tendency of not replacing them atleast. The thing is,they leave for better pastures mostly in terms of pay. Not even our trophy drought. Rumours are there that Szczesny is demanding a pay rise failure to which he wont renew his contract. Sagna wanted to leave too and am not sure if he dropped that. Would it hurt to spend more? Well,i know we have had many financial problems but,at the beginning of this season Wenger was assured there was more money than he could spend. He brought Ozil who was a great move but we had to wait till the last minutes...is it really wise to be this much misers? We might say we want to nurture our lads from young age but,the successful ones either leave for greener pastures where they get more pay or take alot of time to finally ripen. In there shoes,I imagine they ask themselves Do I stay with Wenger and play professionally a beautiful football while earning pea nuts or go where I will be paid double of this? Well,we are human beings. We love money. In our careers we will want to earn more. That makes that question a no brainer. RVP would have been even more lethal with Ozil now had we not lost him. Well,i know he betrayed us very badly and i also hate him but...wasnt it cash that made him go away? Even after standing by him all that time? For how long will we do this? They want to be happy and satisfied with their pay too. We want loyal players, who we nurture from young age (that takes alot of time) but who will win us the premier league now, when we want it? Who will come in when our first team gets injured? Will we keep playing our lads out of their natural positions because of injuries and fatigue? Remember Giroud saying he was tired and would want to share the workload? Who comes in at such a time? Bendtner the samurai? Really,we are needy. Now,my wish is we spend more, really. We are a big team and I love arsenal with all my heart. Am a goonerette no matter what. I love and respect our one and only Wenger alot. Whether we do it right or wrong... But,I just wish we looked into that. Its important. We have a well established first team but sadly, it ends there. Now,I leave myself to you to either agree we have this weakness or swallow me. #gooneretteMhawt
