I know this has been said before, but Im saying it again....PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF SCHOOL BUSES! This morning at about 7:20am, I was on Route 210 (coming from 9W, right before the SPPD) and a bus stopped on the opposite side of the road to pick up kids. The bus was already stopped and the stop sign was out and the lights were flashing. The driver in front of me (in an older model, classic style, light green Cadillac) proceeded to completely blow right past! Now, I understand that it was on the opposite side of the road and kids were getting on from that side, but what if a child came out of a driveway on our side? That man would have hit them! Unfortunately, I was unable to get his license plate because it happened so fast....but I wish I had! I have children who do take buses to school and camp! And their lives (and the lives of everyone else) are not worth the five minutes you think you are going to save.....because in the end, if you hit someone.....you are going to be a lot more than five minutes late! And if you hit one of my children, I may kill you.
