I know this is kind of vague, but Im hoping somebody can recognize it. I got this roll of solder given to me from a local CBer when I first got into the hobby, and this is by far the best solder Ive ever used. I mean once my iron is good and hot this stuff melts on contact, sticks to the tip of my soldering gun and stays right where I put it, and when it melts, it melts good, but hardens just as hard as anything else, but is much easier to get smooth edges on and mold onto the end of a PL-259 because it flows so good. Ive got another couple of tubes of solder I bought brand new, but they dont seem to really liquefy like this stuff does, they do, but they seem to start hardening the instant my iron breaks contact, making it hard to work with. If anybody can tell me what brand/type this is, I would like to re-purchase an identical roll for when this one runs out for future use, and Ill just use the tube stuff for rough jobs that dont need as much finesse and try to burn through it as fast as I can.
