I know weve all heard atheists spout this phrase, Religions have been responsible for the most bloodshed in History. Well, even though this has been proven factually untrue, it is funny how most of the time in the same breath these characters will also quote people like Charles Darwin, who they tend to forget was extremely racist. Darwin was one of the founders of the idea that man evolves at different rates, and hinted at the fact that white Europeans where more evolved than that of Black Africans and Brown Asians. These ideas where what created the foundation blocks of the Nazi party and many other racist nationalist movements. Sadly even until today we are still seeing the repercussions of these ideas being whispered around certain circles. Across the western world in Europe and the United States we are seeing more and more Racist Right Wing organizations becoming more popular with the Anglo Saxon population. But really do these people have a leg to stand on with their ideology? Do white Anglo Saxon Atheists or Christians really think that it is logical to believe that one race is more evolved or in retrospect more intelligent than another? Well... Even if we were able to take seriously Darwins botched ideas for even a second, his theory of white superiority has a lot of contradictions. Number 1.) Evolution doesnt always move in the positive direction. For example people born with Autism is an example of evolution having negative results . . Number 2.) Historically the first people to create Agriculture and Civilized nations were found in Egypt and Mesopotamia (i.e. in 3000 BCE) Meaning that the people in these regions mentally were able to evolve faster than the Anglo Saxon tribes found in Europe. Number 3.) Let use not forget that before Darwin made this stupid theory white Europeans had just came out of the Dark Ages. A time where we saw Anglo Saxon Christians consider bathing to be backwards and unhealthy. Who considered all reading and writing other than what is provided by the Church to be evil and an abomination. So to all the Atheists, Christians and far right wing Islamophobes who seem to snicker at the current turmoil in the Middle East and suggest that Arabs are just inherently violent or Unevolved like the students of Darwin sometimes suggest, I would just like to remind them that if it wasnt for us in Egypt and Mesopotamia, you wouldnt even have a civilized nation and would more in likely be still acting like drunk Vikings.
