I laid in bed this morning and thought about all that i have to be thankful for, I realized I have been blessed far more than I ever could deserve. I have a warm home, a wonderful wife , good kids who work and support their family, good Grand Kids with their heads on straight. I have a job with benefits some would literally kill for. My health is pretty good including my loved ones.I have all this and so much more to be thankful for but I owe every single bit of thankfulness to a man named Jesus Christ, who went and died upon a old wooden cross for someone such as myself. I used to be about as low as a two headed rattle snake with the attitude to go with it. But thanks to my relatives and Mother when I was young took the time to take me to church and taught me about Jesus.Then several years ago he knocked upon my heart with the simple realization that if I died the way I was ,I was going to spend eternity in a place called hell. I hav e done some really stupid things in my life but the single most thing I have to be thankful for is when God knocked , I listened. I failed to mention that the man on the cross didnt stay there , he a rose on the third day from a tomb and forever defeated death and hell. through him we can have ETERNAL life.
