I learned something very important this weekend that I thought needed to be shared. I realized we dont go to church to please the people there. We go because we want to serve the Lord and here his word. I stopped going to a church that I loved because of the fear of sitting alone because I thought I had no friends but I found out the ones who I thought werent my friends are the ones who associated with me and included me in what they did. Im not pointing at anyone with the statement above, I just said that to say this. God is all we need. We dont go to church to impress someone, to give us something to do that day, to hang with friends, or to just say you go to have a good reputation. We go because we want to be in the presence of God and to here what his word says. I will admit I went for all the wrong reasons but today I have realized that that was wrong and I needed to get my heart right with God and to serve him at all times and not when its convenient for me. I hope in some way this opened the eyes of someone who read this. God Bless!
