I like Mike Rowe, but if you are going to rant, you need to be smarter than the product you are ranting against. The collar is working as designed. It is a break away collar and is functioning as intended. For some pets, especially cats, break away is the correct solution so they dont get caught up and choke to death. A break away collar used correctly can save your pets life. Used incorrectly it can get them killed.
