I like Mr. Wallis. He may not be practical, but something speaks to me about heaping benefits on the Iraqi people instead of a war. All told the two wars are going to cost us a couple of trillion bucks. Much of it in caring for the wounded survivors in our military. That says nothing about the tremendous cost on the people in that place. What if we had spent a mere trillion bringing their economies up to speed, health and welfare - whatever. Could we have changed things? I dont know. But I would feel a lot better about the attempt. Thanks Jim.
