I like the workplace to be competitive. I always introduce a masculine air to my business behaviors. Ive frequently been called out on it, by those who consider it misogynistic. The workplace is not bunnies and cotton candy. We compete to win, for profit, for ego, for greed. My #5 action that makes my work more competitive with those I work with? Stand up meetings. Sitting down is weak. It gives you the option for poor posture. It lets you hide your hands. It is not competitive. Have a stand up meeting always. If others dont join in, then always stand up in meetings. Dont sit. Sitting is for cowards. Sitting isnt masculine.
